An idea born from too many rejection letters, Charlie Taylor realised there must be thousands of great stories that are just missing the threshold for publication, or meeting with the wrong editor on the wrong day. He launched a truly democratic literary competition designed to discover the very best rejected manuscripts of the year. Over 130 works of fiction and poetry were presented to the public, with over 2000 votes cast. This anthology contains the winners of that competition.
